Terms of use
These terms are an agreement between you and IRL Studio LLC ("we", "us"). They cover IRL Studio, the IRL Studio phone apps, Connect, the coverage apps, the coverage map and this website (together, "the service"). By using the service you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use it.
1. The service is in private testing
IRL Studio is still being tested. Features can change, stop working or be removed, and the service may be unavailable at times. Please don't rely on it as your only way to go live for something that matters to you.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 13, and old enough to use the streaming platforms you connect.
- Give us correct information, keep your sign-in details to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else has used your account.
- You are responsible for what happens under your account, including what the people you invite to help run your show do.
3. Your content
What you stream and upload is yours. You give us permission to receive, process, store and send it, only as needed to run the service for you, for example mixing your cameras into a show and sending that show to the platforms you chose.
You are responsible for your content, and you must have the rights to everything in it, including music, pictures and video.
4. Using the service fairly
Please don't:
- break the law, or break the rules of the platforms you stream to;
- stream or upload things you don't have the right to use;
- harass, threaten or put other people in danger;
- try to get into accounts, systems or information that are not yours, or disrupt the service for others;
- copy, resell or take apart our software, except where the law says you may;
- send false readings to the coverage map.
5. Other companies' platforms
IRL Studio sends your show to services run by other companies, such as Twitch, Kick and YouTube. Your use of those services is covered by their terms, and we are not responsible for what they do, including changes or outages on their side. We are not affiliated with them.
6. The coverage map
The coverage map shows speeds measured by people's phones. It is a guide to what to expect, not a promise of service in any place. Readings you choose to share are added to the map anonymously, as described in the privacy policy.
7. Our software
The service, the apps and the IRL Studio name and logo belong to us. We give you permission to use them for your own streaming while you follow these terms. Nothing here gives you ownership of them.
8. Payment
We do not take payment through this website. If paid plans are offered, the price and what it covers will be shown to you before you pay.
9. Ending
You can stop using the service at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts the service or other people at risk.
10. No guarantees
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". As far as the law allows, we make no promises that it will always work, be free of faults, or suit a particular purpose.
11. Limit of our responsibility
As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for lost income, lost viewers, lost data, or other indirect losses that come from using the service or from it being unavailable. Nothing in these terms takes away rights the law says cannot be taken away.
12. Which law applies
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, United States.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service develops. We will change the date at the top, and tell account holders about important changes by email or in the studio.
